Acura cleaned up

BLUELINE 1

Protect and Shine
My girlfriends co-worker wanted a wash/wax on her Acura, but it needed much more. She could only afford the the above, so out of the kindness of my heart I added some polish. Why not I had nothing else to do, and I hate applying wax when the paint is not preped. As you can see in the pics this thing was in bad shape. I wasn't able to give her a full detail for nothing, but what I did made the paint look much better.

Wow. Great job. Sometimes I get a car that just begs for a little product testing. I try to sell them the works, but if all they want is a wash and wax then sometimes I just do the works anyway just so I can have the pictures. ;)

You did a great job on that Acura. It looks really great. :bigups

You just understated an amazing job on black paint.

That's a nice piece of work.

Man, that looks so nice, it's nice of you to do a big favor for gf's co-worker.

Did you apply polish first and then wax it again, what is the benefit of polishing first and wax again.

OK, fess up!! You went and got a new one to show off that shine. That is not even the same paint job. Different car... different paint

JUST JOKING!!!

WOW!!! That is some amazing transformation of before and after pic's. Simply stunning!! Would have liked to see the car after the Optimum Polish. Natty's Blue looks awesome!!

What did you use on those splash guards?

GERAT job I am impressed, If you got that much out of the paint with just a PC & poliish pad you did a great job. :bigups

Thanks for the kind words. Yes she was very happy with the outcome. Here's more info on my process. This was my first time using the mothers wheel clearner, and it done a pretty good job(had to be sprayed on twice). As for the paint after a wash there were plenty of swirl marks to deal with. First I gave the polishing pad a mist of QD(to get a little more cut)then I applyed the opt polish. I started off on speed 2 with the PC to spread the product around then moved it up to 5 and worked it until the product was gone. I spent about 6min on each panel. I then got another polishing pad and went over the whole car again with the opt polish. Once again I worked the product until it was not visible. You can't tell by the after pictures but there was still some swirl marks, but very light. I then applyed the Nattys Blue by hand which done a very good job. You can't go wrong with Nattys when your dealing with a dark vehicle. My two hour job turned into a five hour job. Yes the paint looks much better, but it could have used some claying and few other steps. Oh yeah for those dirty windows I used Stoners Inv Glass. For the splash guards I used 303.

Looks real good! I love OP with a polishing pad with the rotary. Big time difference thats for sure! One thing though ... do I see microfibers on the ground?!

I have a mat that I put all of my supplies on, but it does appear that one of them found the pavement. I know I know thats not good. Yeah I'm hoping after that job to pick up some more customers from her work.

very nice work. sometimes it is nessacary to do a little more for someone to make yourself happy with your work. i do that also.
