Acrylic Werks, how will it stack up?

Beemer boy you are sneeky:D what a great idea..then take the tape and cover off and see....Anthony you had nothing to compare it to ....right... and you did your usual great job....this is a good idea...when Mark thiinks his side is finished the comparison should be made...also one other point now that we've opened the door....give him only as long as you worked the other half...I believe you said just under an hour...just a thought:rolleyes:

Tassadar-
The follow-up was posted on Autopia. I was told to "sign on Autopia BB then do a search for <ACRYLIC WERKS>"

ok I'll sum it up for you all....I watched the whole thing...the guy came he did asmall section in the time Anthony did the whole half of his hood..the guy diverted to doing windshield wipers and the test was flawed because they did it in a garage because it was raining or something close to that.. Anthony later said he would finish his half which had only been deoxidized and hadn't had it's final polish or wax/sealant ....oh yeah the guy had to use clay first ...of which nothing was ever mentioned previous for the product to be able to remove oxidation and contaminates....we all can hope for miracles from products, but we all know there are some limitations to everything made and a few steps are ususally needed even for the best finishes.

at the end it got ugly as most comparison threads do...

the guy Mark I think was his name , said it would have been easier and come out better if it was a newer finish....

DAn I saw you joined Autopia...you couldn't find the thread?

maybe it was deleted..I don't know..it got pretty nasty towards the end that I saw...I stopped reading and unsubscribed when the work was done and the fighting began...lol

I found it today. I searched for Acrylic-Werks with a hypen and found it. Don't ask me why.

Yes PB, smoker and Mark got into a pissing match at a grade school intellectual level. It got under my skin too. Nothing constructive there.

I'd like to throw in Anthony's observation that Mark appeared to have scratched the surface as well in the effort. He admits to not being a pro, but he sells to the general public. I'd be pissed if I scratched my car because I had to scrub that hard. Anthony also mentioned he looked like he ran a 10 mile marathon. NO THANKS!

The product sounds similar to Nu-Finish, no thanks. And if he had to work that hard to get there, forget it again. The last time I looked like I had ran a 10-mile marathon was when I got forced into a situation where I left Megs #9 on BLACK paint for over 2 hours, and I had to buff it off by hand. Ouchies.
