Acrylic Pinstripes on car...how not to screw it up?

Here in the next week or two I have a 2002 BMW Z3 to detail. Problem I am going to encounter is that they just had the vehicle pinstriped a month ago, not a vinyl type of pinstriping, but one that is painted on. I believe it is an acrylic type paint. My question is, what can use on this paint and not harm it?

Obviously I'm not going to be taking the PC near it, or any kind of abrsive, but is it safe to use a mild polish, or wax on it. I would guess that I don't want to use a cleaner wax on it, for fear of removing the pinstriping. Would I be safe using #26 on it?

Any ideas, or anybody encounter this problem?:nixweiss

I would just do as you said above and keep the PC away from it. I also don't see why the wax would be unsafe for the stripe...if the wax doesn't have any cleaning properties then my guess is that it will be completely safe, just apply it by hand to that area.
