Accumulator about to hit 10,000 posts

Also (correct me if I'm wrong) but I believe Accumulator also coined the use of the character * to go between words for emphasis. Nobody else seemed to do that but Accum's posts were loaded with them.

I always felt it was his way of personalizing experiences that may differ from others to remind us of the personal, subjective nature of these fickle products and to prevent any flame wars from occuring. Again, an indication of his level headedness (figuratively speaking ;) ) and sense of decorum.

I often see folks copy that technique, present company included.

Just thought *I'd* share that :lol

I for one would love to see some Accumulator photos. Admittedly, that's the thing I love most about viewing ScottWax's posts. When I look at his photos, my mouth just drops open.

Now if I can just get around to digitalizing/uploading/etc. some pictures I can start nipping at ScottWax's heels :D I *have* been taking photos of the RX-7 project so maybe I really will get some pics up some day.

You're going to need to up your post count per day to catch up! Heck, I'm knocking on 30,000 posts (over nearly 6 years) on another board!

Pictures or no pictures, I always look forward to your posts George. :)

Accumulator doesn't leave us guessing.. he has revealed what I would still consider the best washing technique out there!

Congrats!

I concur!!

Have said this before. Will say it again. His thoughful prodding of using the correct techniques in washing a vehicle has finally begun to sink in. I know that he has other great tips but the one that is ever present in his posts is to the care of the vehicle as one is washing. It does help in the care of my black truck that I am obcesssed with.

Keep on posting you have made and are making...*a difference*. :2thumbs:

Uh oh! The cat is out of the bag!!!!

:getdown

Accumulator has helped me countless times on many subjects and I have learned a lot from him. I have also somewhat dealt with him on a more personal level than just replying to posts and he is a true gentleman. Thanks a lot, and I hope you're around Autopia for *another* 10,000 :2thumbs:

Accumulator = 8.12 posts per day

Scottwax = 9.18 posts per day

I have only manged 2.16 posts per day and my wife thinks I spend far to much time here

Heh heh, I'll never catch up with ScottWax any more than I'll ever be able to do *one* car as quickly as he can do about four :o And he doesn't seem to have any trouble posting pics that *he* takes with his 35mm so what's *my* problem?!?

Actually, I never would've noticed my posts approaching 10K had it not been pointed out to me. It was just a fluke that I was able to roll it over when I did, as my post count isn't something I pay attention to.

Accumulator is definately a true asset to the forum. 10,000 posts of informative, polite, articulate, in depth, accurate and witty information. :2thumbs:

Exactly how *I* feel!!! ;)

I genuinely look forward to reading your posts Accumulator. Please keep 'em coming.

I'm glad I didn't miss this internet forum milestone. I don't believe for a minute that Accumulator pays any attention to such things his own post count. IMO, those post counts, cannot measure his true worth as a contributor. Accumulator goes quitely about his *work* (that one is for you) making this forum a wealth of information on a wide variety of subjects. for car care to personal health.

All of the accolades lauded upon Accumulator are, IMO, highly accurate and well deserved. Though I don't know him personally, I believe that he is one person you would want as your neighbor.

Thank you Accumulator for your contributions, past, present, and future :2thumbs:

And I'm going to say this because Accumulator is too much of a gentleman to say it himself, but when a man says...
... I basically stick with the semi-anonymous "Accumulator" as a security policy, having reasons to be a bit cyber-paranoid. I genuinely hope nobody takes this the wrong way and I apologize if it offends anybody.
You should respect his wishes.
