Accord with a big stripe in the middle?

Hi this forum is great and unfortunately I bought lots of stuff from autopia before joining so I missed a discount. Oops oh well.

Anyway I plan my first detail to my sister's 94 Accord to be sold and I was wondering what's this dark stripe down the middle? It was parked in a carport down in Los Angeles, and I think the hot sun faded the "sage green" aka light blue paint on the front and rear.

Does anyone know how to somewhat colormatch it back by hand other than painting the whole car again?

This car is nasty and the whole car feels like sandpaper with some scratches. Also on the front windshield there is this extremely hard brown film surrounding the the wiper area that I couldn't clean or scratch off with my fingernail even.

Also inside in the bottom console there was a glowstick that leaked and now all there is left is this hard clear blob with 2 pennies stucked to it! :nervous2: Is there a way to remove it?

So far I just washed it with Gold Class car wash and it made it look a lot better already.

My plan is:

Wash with Gold Class

Clay Magic the whole car and after clay the glass to remove the hard film?

Use ScratchX on scratches

wash again

NXT glass cleaner

Klasse AIO

2 coats Klasse SG

Will the AIO restore the paint color? Also what's good to use on the bottom black plastic trim to a matte finish as they are faded grey. 303 Aerospace Protectant?

I've been using Prestone foam carpet cleaner, but it was a bit awkward to use and got average results. I heard Folex cleaner was good maybe Adam's or Meguiars carpet cleaner. I read not to use Meguiars APC as it leaves the upholstry sticky?

Thanks for any help.

Hmm I believe that's it as my sister did get into a front end accident with a guy who drove way too fast in a parking lot. I think he broadsided her. Guess they didn't do a good job painting it. Guess I'm stuck with it?

I know when you have body work done with Progressive insurance they warranty the work as long as you own the car. She can probably go back to the body shop and get them to re-do the section they mismatched if you can't fix it with the AIO. If the old paint is oxidized it may come back to the darker color in the pic. If the body shop messed up, get them to fix it!
