accident... scuff marks, what to do?

aside from getting the entire bumper repainted... only some sections seem to have been rubbed down to the plastic. It's not really noticable, but i'm guessing some touchup can help with that?

How would you guys attack this? I have a PC and I just want the scuff marks to become black again...

If you got rearended .. let the insurance fix it .. if you backed into it .. try DACP on a white pad first and if that doesn't work go yellow pad.

I had something similar not so bad. I tried 3M compounding and it did reduce the amount of scratchs and scuffs. Basically showed up wat is a deep scratch and what wasn't. I going to wait on the touch up though, I am planning to touch up and then wetsand, compound and then polish. But my spot is only three 3 inches long scratches. Your might be too big, and have not much of a choice but repaint. So try some polishing first.

yeah thanks guys. I did get rearended... and pushed into another car so I have 2 screw marks on my front bumper as well as the paint becoming dull..... but i'm sure i can fix that myself.

The problem is that the situation is a bit complicated.. the guy who hit me was uninsured. My insurance company is giving me up to $3500 for damages w/o raising premium or charging deductable.

I am going to my preferred bodyshop tomorrow to get an idea of what they will do if I hand the car over... I am still waiting on the insurance ppl to send over a photographer to take pics of it.

I think it won't be tat expensive. I believe it be like around 250-300 to repaint a bumper, maybe cheaper if you can negoiate on a price. I had my rear and front done at 200 a piece. I can't tell from the pic but if it is cracked or missing chunks or even missaligned you might have to replace the bumper cover. But I can't see it going over 1000 from the pics.
