Accesories for air compressor

I am getting a Sears 6hp 30 gallon upright air compressor. Its also coming w/an air ratchet and impact wrench.





I just wanted to know what are some good accessories to get with an air compressor?

I got the same one several weeks ago. I've got the tire fill attachment and the air "blowgun" (not sure what you call it).

It's great for blowing the water out of all the nooks and crannies

on my new Porsche after a wash. I'm looking at the one that Griot's garage carries to make it a little easier to hold and use.

The comppressor from Sears cost me about $324 w/the tax. I will be picking it up instore hopefully soon.



As for the accesories i.e. air gun, tire inflator etc will run about $20-25 total.

I would recommend some type of water seperator if you plan on using air tools or paint guns with it.

When air is compressed, water is produced. I used to work at a shop with no water traps in the air system, and it would look like a pressure washer for about five minutes every morning when we hooked up air blowers to the lines.

Quick tip: Slip a piece of rubber tubing over the end of the blow gun to prevent accidental scratching.
