? about Vinylex

Don't know if I spelled the product correctly, but is it safe to use on leatherette seats? My main concern in the product getting on clothes after it is appleid to the seating surface. Anyone experience any problems such as this with Vinylex or 303? Thanks!
 
I have leatherette seats in my 323i and use vinylex on a monthly basis. I usually apply it directly onto a terry towel and work into the seats and dash. I try to let it set for 20 minutes or so before driving off to let it dry although applying with a towel eliminates any excess. Great stuff.
 
I'd assume you'd be safe to use Lexol Vinylex for your leather, however they do specifically make a Leather Cleaner and Conditioner for this purpose.
 
As Mike has said, I also use Vinylex on the interior of a 323Ci with leatherette. BMW actually recommended it to the owner of the 323 when he picked it up.



When he comes over, I usually put some Vinylex onto a foam applicator and spread it evenly onto the seats/vinyl surfaces. I then take a 3M microfiber and wipe off any excess. Leaves the interior nice with a small amount of gloss, which he likes. Well I think leatherette is vinyl

I think 303 works BEST on BMW leatherette seats. It give a factory BLACK showroom look. I found lexol is a bit too glossy and actually makes the seats look like fake leather.....something you are trying not to embellish!

I've sampled lexol on some vw leatherette (which is vinyl) and it was very glossy but I didn't have issues with excess product rubbing off. 303 is still my product of choice for interior treatments as I like the dull matte look.
