A white Highlander HYBRID *56K* NO

GOT PREP?
Today I had the pleasure of detailing a Toyota Highlander Hybrid. Some of you may recognize the driveway, as this is the same guy who owns the black SC cobra that I detailed not too long ago. Detailing for this guy is AWESOME!!! His cars are always in great shape, he appreciates the small things that are synonymous with “detailing, and he even bought me lunch. :D

The paint was in great shape, just had some very light dealer installed swirls.

Process was:

Clean engine by hand with Costco APC 10:1 and a few MF towels. I really couldn’t see spraying this sucker down with PW.

Wash

Wheels cleaned with acid 50/50, then pressure washed

Tires and wheel wells cleaned with APC 10:1

Clay with Meguiars aggressive clay, tons of “gunk on the white paint

Apply OCP with the PC and a polishing pad

Remove residue with OCW

Apply another application of OCW this time including glass, paint, chrome, headlights, tail lights, and wheels (separate MF of course).

Tires dressed with HD

Glass cleaned with NXT and a Meguiars ultimate wipe

The interior was in great shape, just needed a little cleaning up.

Vac

Clean everything with APC 10:1 with a MF

Dress leather with Medallion leather cleaner/conditioner

Pressure wash all-season matts

Polish all “wood trim with klasse AIO

Door jams treated with AIO and OCW

Sorry for the poor lighting, it was overcast ALL day.

Hey Joe,

Great work!

Did you dress the engine, too? How do you like AIO on wood? This one was a touch easier than the Hummer, eh?

LOL!! Yeah, just a touch easier. :)

I like AIO on wood If it is in good shape. If there are scratches I use OC or OP, they seem to handle the marring better (as we would expect).

No dressing on the engine, just cleaned.

Djmigs, I am not sure I understand your questions, can you clarify?
