A Quick Wash - Collinite 476 Two Months On..

Well, after a busy week, the car was looking (to my eyes anyway) an absolute state:

Thats what salty motorways do to your car... So I though this would be a nice opportunity for a quick wash and an update on how the Collinite 476S wax is surviving on the car... :)

The car was detailed, and two layers of Collinite 476S wax were applied (24hrs apart) just over two months ago. The car has received nothing but weekly washed (dried with Last Touch) since then.

So, the car was washed... Wheels first using Meguiars Hyper Wash and a Meguiars wheel brush and Meguiars Microfibre mitt. Then the bodywork was washed (twice owing to the mank!) with Meguiars Shampoo Plus and a Meguiars Lambswool mitt. The car was dried using Meguiars Last Touch as a lube with a Sonus Der Wunder drying towel.

The end results of the basic wash:

The rinsing water still sheeted quickly and cleanly off the paint, highlighting a good degree of protection still present. What impresses me more about the Collinte wax however is the fact that the finish that was achieved two months ago is still there - after just a wash, the car looks like it was only recently detaied and waxed and for me this is the beauty of the high durability Collinite wax. :)

Collinite sure keeps it's freshly applied traits for a while. 2 months in on my car(845) and it is still glossy, slick, and beading well.

Looks like a pool of silver paint. Great work.

The paint looks great! Looks like Collinite is really holding its look under dreadful conditions. :up

But....no beading shots? :(

You're right about the Collinite. It still keeps it looks after 2 months. Looks like a recently detailed car, even on silver :)

It seems (I may be wrong) like your tires are a bit low on air pressure. Maybe you should do a quick pressure check :)

Looks like one of the wheels shots shows a missing lug nut or lug nut cover.

I have 476S on my black truck and have been very impressed with it thus far (2 months) in comparison to Megs Gold Class.
