A Process Question

I'm still a little confused on the order to use products, so I will ask if this would be a good idea.

NXT Wash

Clay

#83 with Yellow Excel (i have pretty bad swirls)

or should i use 83 with green first, then if not enough, move up to yellow

Or should i use 80 with green or yellow.

(not sure if there should be something in between these)

Klasse AIO

Natty's Paste Wax

??

Thanks,

Kevin

BTW im open to all critiques because i basically have no idea.

Should I put a glaze in there somewhere, or is that basically what the AIO is doing?

I'm a little confused still on the purpose of all these products, so I thought showing what I think would help me out.

Any recommendations of replacement products for any of those would be okay too. It's not like I have my mind set on those in particular.

With those products, the process would be:

Wash

Clay

DACP #83

*#80 may be necessary if you have some micromarring after using #83/yellow*

AIO

Nattys

You should start out with the least aggressive approach first, so you only remove enough clear to get the job done. You would start with #80 and a green pad, and then move to #83 on a green pad if the #80/green doesn't cut it.

EX and Nattys are two different types of products. EX is a sealant, and Nattys is a carnauba wax.

Yes, you could use EX in place of AIO in your list. You could also do AIO > EX > Nattys

So you could put sealant over AIO, then wax. I think I'm understanding.

What is the purpose of the AIO then?

AIO is a cleaner, so it cleans the paint. Various stains and oxidation can be removed by AIO.

AIO is also supposed to provide a good base for LSPs, and provide durable protection as well according to the bottle.

If you have bad swirling you would do #83 DACP with a yellow then #80 with the green then AIO with the blue. When I did my car with bad swirling it took me 2 passes with the DACP and yellow because DACP isn't as aggressive as people think.
