Well I am pretty new here but have been trying to learn so please baer with me. I have an assortment of products, but I am not exactly sure how to use them so Here goes:

#1 I have NXT, can I put this over EX or EX-P.

#2 Do I just leave EX or EX-P as a LSP. It seema like I should cover this with some sort of pure carnuba, or some pure protectant

#3 What is a PwC?

Thanks

Don't worry buddy, we are here to help. Ask all the questions you'd like.

Here's *my* answers to your questions:

#1 - No, you cannot put NXT over EX or EX-P. NXT has cleaners in it, and will remove part/all of any previously applied LSP.

#2 - You can leave EX and EX-P as a LSP or you can top it with a *PURE* carnauba wax. Just be sure it doesn't have cleaners in it of any kind. A couple local favorites are P21S/S100 (same thing), and Souveran, just to quickly name two.

#3 - PwC is "Polish With Carnauba" and is made by Poorboy's.

Hope this helps.

A sealant is a LSP that "seals" the surface in order to protect it. It enhances shine but doesn't do anything to hide existing defects. A glaze is a product that can be used as both a LSP and/or as a step in a more complicated process. It contains fillers in order to *enhance* the appearance of a not so perfect finish.

To give you an example of each product, Poorboy's EX and EX-P are sealants, while Clearkote's RMG is a glaze.
