A Plug for PoorBoys

Going to try Polish, Sealant this weekend on wife's van..

I am a AIO type of guy. Our cars are in good shape and light colored and an AIO seem to work in cleaning them up.. Of course a coat of wax goes on top when done just for $%#^ & grins :)

I have used XMT 360 , GPS and Auto Finesse but will always willing to try some thing new and beside that Todd needs my money :)

PWS is some great stuff

The original 5 products of Poorboy's World

1. Polish w/ Carnauba (White)
2. Professional Polish
3. Spray and Wipe
4. Whitewall Cleaner & Degreaser
5. Vinyl, Plastic and Bumper Restorer

When they went online in 2002 and www.PoorboysWorld.com was started Natural Look was part of the line up as well

Here are some pictures of our original bottles that Steve has on display in his office.

(The white PWC is a new label that was stuck on the old bottle)

One of the best things about all of their products is you can use them in full sun and the price is very reasonable.

Plus, Steve and Pockets will take care of you![/QUOTE]

Working on a black car today in direct sunlight part of the time. Temp was 90 degrees. Used Poor Boys Black Hole. Worked flawlessly with easy removal. Its nice to have a product that can bail you out when no shade is available. I have not been disappointed with any of their products.

Thanks Chris, Very cool to know to the 5. I searched the PBW forum and couldn't find it.

Thanks again,

Larry

Natty's Blue Smells like bubble gum, great stuff.

I also took the SSR line to work and they worked great to remove sanding marks on the repaints.

I've been hearing good things over at AGO about there tire dressing. Might check it out since I like collecting tire dressings. :D

I use Bold and Bright on all my details. One of the best tire dressing on the market!

Anyone still using EX-P?

I use it all the time, especially in the summer months. Its hands down THE BEST sealant to use when your stuck working in the sun like I am most of the time. That's not to say there aren't other sealants I like to use as well, but EX-P has a permanent place in my arsenal.

I have used it recently, got about 3 months.

What kind of pad and speed do you typically use on an AIO?

I really like the idea of these AIO's once the car is swirl free. Might as well leave some protectant behind with that light polish step. Seems like a good way to "feed the paint" as they say.

Myself..... I've have done both white pad varied speed for a little final polish type thing, or black pad speed 2 or 3, just for a little cleaning and sealing.
(my on thought is that with white pad, it may not leave as much selalant)

Like Ron stated the more aggressive you get with it the less protection is left behind.

That being said PWS with a purple foam wool pad does some incredible correction, buttt does not leave much of anything behind as it was all worked away.

Actually I have used PWS with an orange and yellow pads as well.

It really depends on the level of cutting power I am going for. Generally, I use either a white or green pad...

My black car.

Blazing hot sun.

Poor QD+ used in blazing sun.

No streaks. Sick gloss.

I love PBs.
