I bought some based on this thread - great stuff, long lasting. At this point, I see no reason to use anything else.

The majority of the brown gunk on your tires when they're dirty is this chemical, not only brake dust like I used to think. If this stuff puts a "clearcoat" on the tires I would think It'd hinder this natural process of wear and tear, by plugging the pores. However petroleum based dressing do make browning a whole lot worse and aren't recommended from many care care suppliers.

I have not tired it on any plastic moldings, I guess I should. It is suppose to have some UV protectants.
