A little project I've been working on.

Auto Detail & Restoration
Been working on this BMW. It has a VW motor transplant. It was the first prototype which later conversions were sold. It was missing a headlight bezel for the custom gauge cluster. Later conversions reused the original cluster. I think this was built to monitor and make sure everything worked right during development. Other than the motor/dash the bike retains its original parts. Here are a few pics and how I made the bezel.

Still needs a little more rubbing and spot sanding but it's all by hand.

Thermal heat forming panel 1/8 in was used and formed by hand. Then careful Dremel work.

Today was replicating what I would assume from pictures a battery tie down. Some straightening required before paint.
