This is typically the type of detailing production restoration shops encounter on a regular basis. Neglected vehicles, that are not washed frequently resulting in paint oxidation and mold growth on all the surfaces.



The client debated purchasing a new vehicle and instead detailed the vehicle for his wife as a Christmas Present. They were beyond ecstatic at the results.
 
I did a Miata this past summer that had thick mold growing all over it from sitting in constant shade under trees for a few months and with the heat and humidity it got really nasty. Had to use a strong bleach and water solution to get it all off. Gina, what do you use to get the mold off?

Car wash soap and multi-purpose cleaner
 
Luckily Honda's are seriously sealed cars when they are closed up so hopefully the interior wasn't too bad?!

I'd be worried about the fresh air intake though?



Results are pretty impressive.

Our focus was primarily exterior, we did change cabin filter which was filthy and treated ac/ air intake with DrivePur.

Well, you did a great job on this on and I'm sure they were thrilled!
 
There is a hoarder that lives in my community that has a Porsche 944, a first generation Mustang and a Ford F-150 Flareside, all of them white and all of them covered in black mold... it's a damn shame.
 
I feel dirty just looking at that. Even with hazmat suit not sure i could venture near that mess. Nice job, hope owner appreciates it.
