A little help from Blackfire users please

I'm finally getting around to getting to work on the black Audi.

(I must say that the durability of the 845 maintained by UQD lessened the urgency of it.)

Anyways, after a bit of research, I ordered the Gloss Enhancing Polish and the Wet Diamond All-Finish Paint Protection. My question is how to best apply?

I really don't have any swirls or significant defects, so I think that I'm going to polish with M205 and a white pad on the PC.

My initial thought is to follow up with the GEP and a gray pad then the Wet Diamond by hand. Is applying more than 1 layer worthwhile?

What do you recommend?

I use the Blackfire Wet Diamond All-Finish Paint Protection - great stuff.

I have not tried the Gloss Enhancing Polish yet.

I recently did 2 of my cars with the PC m205 on a white LC pad and then the Blackfire Wet Diamond All-Finish Paint Protection. Worked out great.

I apply by hand using a MF applicator.

Wipe it off with a good MF towel, or two, once it hazes up a bit.

You are supposed to wait 8 hours before applying a second coat(per Blackfire info on the web). I leave the car in the garage during that time to ensure no contaminants bond to the newly applied sealant.

After 8 hours, I apply the second coat by hand.

Wipe it off once it hazes up a bit.

I also leave it in the garage another 8 hours, though I guess you do not have to.

I think 2 coats everywhere makes a difference. I added a 3rd coat on the front end of my vette for a little more protection.

I also do all of the exterior glass 2 coats.

You may also want to try the Blackfire quick detailer spray. I use that after washes. Great product.

I know one can use a polisher to apply the Blackfire Wet Diamond All-Finish Paint Protection, but doing it by hand has worked out well for me - as has 2 coats.

Thank you for the responses.

I think that I'm going to go the gray pad polish/hand seal route.

I'm thinking that I can use Z8 to maintain it. I'll give that a go too.
