A lesson in PFW...

I wonder if the foam is getting loaded up? Maybe those pads need a deep cleansing.

Greg and I both threw brand new foam finishing pads at it.

Nothing like butter soft paint to hone up your 105 skills, though. The 95 was taking way too long, so I switched over to 105 as well. Once you get the hang of using it, there's no going back.

I have yet to try out my #105 yet, but I was polishing a VW Beetle convertible last week, and SIP wasn't really cutting it (pun intended) so I stepped up to #95 with a 4" orange on my PC and HOLY MOLY was it great! That was my first time using #95 and let me just say, it's the real deal. I can only imagine using it with a PFW on a rotary.

Valid about the time savings..

..but come on guys, don't make me spend anymore money on detailing stuff or I might go bankrupt. :bolt

Whew long day. I re-read the email. System 2000 is only for rotary whereas the UPW can handle the flex and da as well. Wouldnt UPW make more sense than the 2000 then?

I dunno, really. The System2000 uses a series of pad spurs versus a curved grit guard in the UPW.

I'd think the pad spur would clean 'deeper' as it has nubs that can compress the foam in different locations as you move the polisher around while cleaning. The curved grit guard in the UPW I can't see allowing to give better 'spot attention' to the pads.

That's just my thoughts on it.

Peer pressure. Come on, Flow....everybody else is buying one! :secret
