a good week

tacscar-tim

almost time to tailgate
i've had a pretty cool week of detailing. i've detailed two pristine SL500s, one black and one white. a F150 that only had 14k and the interior looked new.
plus this.........

it's a 78' 308 gtsi w/12k original miles. best of all, the owner tossed me the keys and said take it for a spin. i could get used to a car like this :D

Yeah Koop he has a band play to keep the mood..lol
Italian music for this baby...Country for the f150 and some Classical or Jazz for the Mercedes....lol

Jeff the car came in with 11k and went out with 14k
Tim..just a short ride...lmao ;)

I like the old ones too..:D nice job

This deeper glossy look is growing on me. I must know what was used, same with the paint. Paint almost looks like UPP or Zaino.

NIce work Tim! Of course we would expect nothing less from you! :)

Glad to hear the biz is going well. Just goes to show when you deliver quality like that it will get recognized.

Kudos!

Now, next time a client throws you the keys to a ride like that swing by NJ and pick me up!!!!! I haven't been in a Ferrari since the 80s.

Great week I'll say, I got to drive one of those up the coast highway one from Santa Cruz towards San Fran, a few years back. I have to say that the 308 is a point a shoot car. I hit 140 on a straight away and the car still had pedal,. I'm glad that I can't afford one way to fast for me

Robbin Masters ???

tascar ... Awesome !!! That is one incredible Ferrari !!!Great job !! But not unexpected !!!

Yeah buddy Tim! I want to come up to KY and get a jam session going in your shop!

I bet you guys didn't know that your very own admin was once a budding heavy metal rock n roll guitar virtuoso!

Awwwww yeah!!!!!!!!

thanks everyone,

the detail shop has become a place for me and some of my buddies to jam. we may be old but we can still rock... a little:D

i used klasse all in one and sg. i tried to use swirl mark rermover but the paint on the ferrari is way too soft and it just scratched it. the aio did a great job at removing older dead paint and it really did turn out amazing...

natty, next time i'm jumpin' in and heading to nj. i'm sure there is room for some fishing poles in there :p

I knew there was sometihng else about you that I couldn't put my finger on. I a rocker also. Played in rock bands for over 10 years. Played the axe from about 9 y/o until I put it away about 12 years ago (had to start making a living LOL).

Hey, want to buy a 3 pickup Black Beauty Les Paul Custom? LOL

Seriously, I just recently took out my guitars, strung em' and purchased a small Crate practice amp. Just trying to get the fingers back in shape. Man, am I ever rusty!

so what did you use on the tires? I personaly think they are hideous that way but i know some people love it. I'm very cerious.

hey koop, that's looks wet, no mess. they really aren't as shiny as they appear in the picture. plus the huge sidewalls on those tires really make them stand out. plus i must confess, i kind of like shiny tires. must be the old armor all days still in me.

hey natty, we need to start up a dc band. sounds like we have some players here. i 've been bangin, on the drums since around the age of 14 or so.

I love tires shiny it depends on the car though. The Agressive Off-road Wheels I like super shiny, Sports Car's Low profile Tires I like satin IE 303, and water based dressings. Great Looking Ferrari Got any interior shots ?
