I am looking for a thin, almost bed sheet like material, car cover to use on my car when I park it inside the garage. I does not have to be a custom fit, just looking for something lite to keep the dust off. Can anyone tell me a good place to begin my search or does anyone have a recommendation?

I currently have one of those multi-layered car covers, kind of thick and bulky which i use when I have to park my car outside.

Thanks!!!!!! :D

Great question. Bump b/c I am interested too. Mainly for when I do a multi-day detail and want to keep the car dust free overnight.

These may be overkill, but I'm truly impressed by California Car Cover.

I ordered a custom-fit one for my Charger SRT and it came quickly and fit perfectly. I even had it custom embroidered.......take a look and see if their dustcover models work for ya.

I have used a weathershield cover in the garage (even though it is made for outdoors). It is light and packs down much smaller than a regular cover.

It can also be washed and dried in a home (non_commercial) machine which is a big plus for me.

Keep in mind that however good the quality of the cover, if there's dust on your car when you cover it, it will act like an abrasive. If your car just has a light coating of dust from a little time outside, the California Car Duster is a quick way to clean it off. Just use the weight of the brush, don't press down at all, and you should be fine as far as avoiding scratches, especially if your car has a decent coat of wax.
