Since Collinite is suppose to last 3 months, will it seal in any filler underneath or it doesnt bont to it? Say i put some glaze underneath and sealed it, it it last 3 months?

I'd suggest Danase wet glaze(acrylic) instead of a traditional oily glaze

Me too. I really like DWG, it doesn't wash away like a typical glaze does and it makes the paint look great!

DWG is awesome and that would be my suggestion as well!!! I wanted to put that under 845 when I did it, but I used prime acrylic and AJT instead. It didn't fill as well as a glaze, but looks damned good!!

If you do a search, you will find that people's experiences are that danase wet glaze does not do much filling if any. A very good filler however is Menzerna Finishing Touch Glaze. I think it's oily like the other glazes but it was designed to fill.

the question is will the filling effect last?

Yeah, at least IME. Put a few layers of the Collinite on there, at least 12 hours apart with the 476S, maybe longer with the 845 (never did any real experiments with that one, always waited a day or so). My recommendation is 4 coats of 476S, that'll not only last a *LONG* time, but will also really seal in the fillers.

Don't apply the wax aggressively, try to get it on there without disturbing the glaze/etc.
