A few specific QEW Questions not answered by searching

Very interested in this product. But as a traditionalist, I'm wary to try new things that don't make scientific sense to me... but I do want to use QEW for the benefit of washing at shows, direct sunlight, etc.

1) How many of you have replaced washing with this for 99% of your washes? I can see it replacing my weekly wash, but I weould suspect that I would need to wash every month or so with a normal S&W wash.

2) Will it take off any carnauba?

Thanks

I use it about 95% of the time now...use this and the self serve coin bandit spray wash place.

If you car has caked on mud QEW would not be sufficient.

I doubt it would take off carnauba as it is a very gentle wash product.

My advice is to buy a small bottle of it and test the product/method on someone elses car first who is not that picky and decide if its the product for you.

It is VERY wac friendly. It does a great job and I have replaced 100% of my washes with QEW. The only problem is really caked on mud. Then it must be hosed off. Incredible product. You wont be dissapointed.

I use QEW majority of the time. I'll use soap and water when I come across mud, road salt, etc. BTW, that only applies to my customer's vehicle. I have so much wax and sealant on my vehicle, QEW can melt crud right off! Also, to my knowledge and experience with qew, it doesn't remove wax.

I travel in an RV for six months and then I live in the house for six months. When we are on the road I use QEW exclusively, mostly because of the water restrictions in campgrounds. When we are at home I still use QEW on the RV most of the time. Before I start the Menzerna Polish and AIO routine, I wash the coach with a strong car wash solution. Other than that I use QEW.

Here is a shot of the side of my RV reflecting the house across the street. You can see that using QEW 95% of the time has not degraded the paint. This shot was taken right after using Menzerna Final Polish and AIO.

Poorboys also makes a product similar called spray and wash. It says you just spray on and wipe off but I mix an ounce of each into a gallon of water. It works awesome. Scottwax turned me on to this and it really works great.

You can dilute PB's S&W, but at one ounce to the gallon, I'm not sure what benefit the S&W will have. One ounce of QEW per gallon of water is the prescribed amount. I have also seen where some add an ounce of QD in with their QEW solution.
