A few recent details

Detail time!
Thankfully the rain has stopped over the past few days so I got a few details done.

Well first up is a Toyota Pruis which I did a few weeks ago. It recieved 50:50 mix of OHC and OCP, polishing pad and rotary and then UPP, I think (short memory).

There's that color again! Very glossy and slick.

Next up is a quick little detail on the Tacoma. I actually still had the winter coats on up to this time. Since this is about 98% swirl free it recieved:
-AIO polishing pad, PC
-SG finishing pad, PC
24 hours after
-S100 spit shined w/ OCW x2 coats

We have some flake,

And even some gloss:

And the Jeep recieved Mothers PowerPolish and SG this weekend and this is how it looks today:

And one last picture of a good deal I found at Sam's. 4 cans of IG for $10.77:

Sorry for so many picutres, hope you enjoyed!

Those details look good. The OHC and OCP looks to have left a bit of hazinf. Its understandable as different paints respond differently to different polishes.

Now, I have a question. I'm assuming the Prious is one of your cars, around how many mPG are you getting and how many miles you drive on a full tank?

Again, this is assuming this is one of your vehicles.

I guess I probably should have followed up with something else but it is a lot better than it was. I probably won't use the 50:50 mix again. It was very difficult to work with and to remove. The Prius is my girlfriends parent's and I think they get something like 54 MPG. Not sure how far that goes but it is a really nice little car. It lacks initial torque but it runs and drives like a normal car.

This is the test jeep you used on one of your write ups?
It still looks good. The red has a nice wet finish with added depth.
