So I've searched the forums and know i have learned a lot and now I want to put it to use.
I am about to order a bunch of stuff but before I do I wanted to ask a few questions as the answers might change some of my order.
Between myself and my family I'm looking at regular upkeep of 5 cars, 3 which I have taken average care of (I would have called it good care before I joined this site, thank you).
I plan on over the course of the next few weekends performing the following steps on each car :
wash
clay
wash
Klasse AIO
buff
Clearkote VMHG
buff
Klasse SG
buff & cure
Poorboys EX-P
buff & cure
Some sort of carnauba wax, not sure which one yet (probably Nattys)
buff
Now my questions :
Is this a good enough base process to bring the cars back some "wow" factor?
I have a PC 7336 and want to buy the E2K pad system. Which pad should I marry to which product? I was thinking I'll basically be using the blue and the white pads, but do I really even need blue pads for the AIO and VMHG? Should I buy multiple pads or just a good cleaner and clean pads between steps?
I know I've read that AIO and VMHG serve basically the same purpose, but in my reading so far I understood a glaze has filler oils which might help to "fill in" some of the micromarring, where as AIO really just does a good job of cleaning out everything. Am I somewhat correct?
Any other suggestions or tips?
Thanks in advance for all your help!
