Hello guys and gals, been learning quite a lot from everyone here, wanted to officially say "thanks!". Josh here, originally from Berks County PA, recently moved to eastern IL. Got into detailing in the early 90's with good old Cleaner Wax and "the wax shop" liquid stuff. Also became fascinated with the Concours chapter of the old "Ultimate Auto Detailing" book from 1995 (antiquated now). Love going to concours when possible, and love hotrods and e34 Bimmers. Since moving to the midwest, it's been a real job keeping my family's cars clean w. all the snow. Anyway, I really love learning about diff. products, like many people here. As a hobby detailer, I have tons of questions. Looking foward to posting more!
 
Welcome! When I first got into detailing "Ultimate Auto Detailing" was my bible! Looking at it now I kind of laugh at half of what it says.
 
Yeah Mikey, think I found your book actually a bit before finding autopia- I remember seeing it before. I learned from the section that mentions "chemical cleaners." Pretty good info in there.
