Ranney at PakShak only charges REAL shipping costs. He charged me $9 for 2nd day, and the sticker on the postage was exactly $9. Keep in mind, PakShaq is in Hawaii, but still, he only charges the ACTUAL cost, not some inflated nonsense that others may charge.

You will LOVE Ranney's MF and customer service.

I'm not expert, but I think you'll see some improvement in your shine. Turtle Wax is not known for it's depth of shine. However, this seems to be a case where the persons technique (and love for the car) can clearly be seen in how well you shone 'er up.
 
Wow. Awesome results with Turtle Wax.... it just goes to show that prep work is about 95% of the final product.

NickATRvtec: Went oout in the car tonight for an hour or so, jumped onto the local bypass and had a HUGE SMILE on my face. Stereo turned off, so all I can hear is engine. Still love, even after having the car for nearly a year.

Have you ever heard a 2.2 litre VTEC Type R with a full race exhaust and induction system at 8000 RPM... very very awesome sound :shocked :D ;)



Had one of those new Clio Cup cars behind me the other week giving it some on a dual carriageway :) Took some hard work to shake the little devil off ;) :D
 
Nick: Does it sound much the the civic type r? The civic makes a real awesome sound in standard form, especially when the vtec kicks in, so i can only imagine what your modded one sounds like. Toyed with buying a CTR, but went for the clio, due to all the extra kit that comes as standard (climate, leather, xenons, multi-changer etc). Honda wanted £350 for factory-fit fogs :eek: :eek:



The cups are pretty quick aren't they... can't believe reno released them for sale without ABS though. Reno reckons that it was because the cup is supposed to be Group N ready.



Both my wax orders turned up today; from CMA i got s100 wax, SEC and a couple of their miracle MF towels, and from Meguiars i got some #9, #26 and #36, so hopefully weather will be good this wekend.

The older VTEC engine in mine definately sounds better (I have been in a modded CTR). CTR has a very gentle VTEC kick and sound. Mine is like a flipping great big explosion :bow :D



I think the ABS is taken away because it gives the driver more control over the braking. This, I assume, is because more cups will be used on track by enuthusiast drivers, compared to everyday drivers who need the comaparative safety of ABS :xyxthumbs



Quick questions - how much did your order cost altogther, and how much was shipping and import duty/VAT (the bit I got really stung on)?

Nick: Dunno how I avoided import & VAT. Parcel was sent to my home address, too.



Soon-to-be-father-in-law (October's really comin' up fast) IS a postman, tho', although not on my round - don't think this had anything to do with it tho', as the parcel had already left customs by then.

Don't they run that Renault in the "World Rally Championships" (WRC)?

Personally, mine favorite type of racing...

I always catch it on the Speed channel in the U.S.

I like the interoir of those cars. Sometimes they'll show that "in the cockpit" shot during the races and I like the layout in the Renault.

Kind of a different shifter, right? Also an electronic readout of gear your in and when to upshift on the dash?
