A few Megs questions

Just wondering about Megs 16. I never hear anyone talk about it anymore. I have 2 full tins that I'd like to use on some cars so wondering about shine ( what peoples opinion are ) and some durability.

Also wondering if the NXT 2.0 is the same as M21 2.0 ??

Meguiars #16 has a nice warm glow, should get 4-6 months durability out of it. Apply a section at a time and then remove the excess. Really nice old school paste wax, won't stain trim either.

No idea how NXT compares to #21.

I still use it now and then, when i remember i have it,and wonder why i don't use it more often. great stuff.

Heh heh, yet *AGAIN* my experiences differ from Scottwax's!  IME (and I've used M16 for decades, first used it on my bicycle in the '60s) it *can* stain trim.  Not the the point of "it *will* stain* but it can if you don't buff it off immediately.

Other than that I still like it and it's what I'm using on my wife's daily driver.  Somewhat "bright" IMO, not something I'd like on a dark or "rich" color, though I did use it on black and red back in the days of factory single stage (I'd recommend M26 for those instead).

I especially like using M16 via machine, it's "the paste wax that turns liquid" when used that way.

Don't apply too much!  Thin thin thin.  Don't miss any spots when buffing it off as they'll be a real PIA after a few weeks (gee, guess how I know).

Also wondering if the NXT 2.0 is the same as M21 2.0 ??

Don't think they are the same beast.   M21 2.0 is a very durable LSP but I've never heard anyone claim the same for NXT.  I believe Jesstzn uses M21 regularly.
