That may be the filthiest car ever posted on Autopia! Amazing job just cleaning it, truly superb job correcting the finish! :bow :bow :bow

WOW!!!!!

I detail 2 BMW's per week and have never seen one that dirty! Did he take that deer hunting?

Beautiful work on bringing that car back to civilization.

Totoland Mach

Actualy he is a she´s and a paramedic and drives 100km everyday when she goes to work. Many miles after a dirty high way with snow, mud, road salt and etc.

What was the brown stuff on the wheels??

Must be the TFR(trafic film remover) and the Tar&glue remover who is doing their job. Thats dirt and grime dripping of the rimes. Think I have a similar photo of the car during the same process, can post it later.

Simply unreal turn around. Nice choice of products as well.

What was your routine for the wheels?

Do you have the PO106FF as well?

Tar&glue remover, let dwell for 5-10min, rinse with Kärcher(preassure washer)

TFR(trafic film remover) let dwell for 5min, rinse with Kärcher.

Dressed the rims with concepts chemicals - Contour tire dressing.

Finished :)

Great transformation! Gotta love the menzerna 106ff; great stuff.

Word  thats a shame that you guys over there don´t have the newest Menzerna,

PO85RD3.02, PO85RE5 and PO106FA.

If I'm not mistaken, the PO106FF is pretty much the same thing as Blackfire SRC correct? How did you manage to remove all that marring with just a finishing polish and polishing pad?

The Blackfire SRC finishing polish is the same thing as Menzerna PO106FF but with added lubrication, but I don´t see the reason for more lubrication? The 106 have a very long working time even with rotary, more working time should IMO be a waste of time to break it down properly.

The pad is a new kind of pad, got a test. I use it as a polishing/finishing pad on harder clears, works great with compounds as well. Would be similar to LC orange? Maybee a little bit softer. LC Orange and white would be a good description.

Well it´s actually a She, and she commutes 100km to work on a dirty high way filled with road salt, mud, grime and all other nasty things.

And this is not a very dirty car here in Sweden, I have washed cars much worse then this. Fun when you see the true colour of the car:D

might be the dirtiest car i have ever laid my eyes on.. But you did a great job getting clean..Nice work on that car

I love using the R-2000 paint sealants. They offer a very good warranty as well. I was going to use their system when I considered going into the Rust, Paint & Fab business. How does it hold up for you. I'm surprised and happy to see someone here using it. Great sealant.

I realy like the R-2000 paint sealant. I also use the cleaner before other sealants. Have tried with rotary and wool pad, we eliminated light swirling on a hard VW clear.

Holds up very good, we washed my friends fathers VW passat(polished and sealed early september 06) last week and it was easy to wash and looked just like it was sealed.

Very nice work :up - Weird color though, it looks very different depending on the light.

Just checked out the Top Tool polisher, and wow that is an expensive machine! A bit surpricing cause the name sounds kinda cheap ;)

Who makes the R-2000 sealant?

Perhaps this wasn't the dirtiest car we've seen but it was close! Great work, thanks for showing us some products we don't always see. The new Menzerna's sound great as well as the R-2000's. I'm curious about the Res-Bona glass polish/sealant you used. Do you find it holds up well? After the snow we've had this week this is how most cars here look too, when you see a nice BMW like that you want to cry. :aww:

Zet: Yes it´s a very expensive machine, but I have never regret it. Much better then my old Cyclo and they are not so cheap here in Scandinavia as well.

CPC corp manufactures the R-2000 paint sealant

CPC Corporation - Featuring Paint Sealant and Fabric Protector made with DuPont® Teflon® Surface Active Agents

Ben Kenobi: Thanks. We have maybee the similar climate as you with much snow, road salt and all the cars look like s*ht

The Res-bona glass treatment is superb, much better then aquapel IMO.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes we do have very similar climates to each other. When I saw the photos from 2005 they made me think of how much it looks like here. I'll have to look into the Res-Bona. I currently use the DP glass polish and still have quite a bit of Aquapel but it's something to think of down the road.
