A black Mercedes SC430, heavily swirled of course *56K* NO

Probably one of the best transformations I've seen in awhile. Nice work. It's too bad the owner abused such a nice car like that though.

Thanks guys!!

Sorry for the slow reply, I have been on vacation all week. Well, sort of, I spread two yards of mulch and detailed a 99 Maxima yesterday, but that doesn't count. :D

SpoiledMan, sorry man--my knowledge of these vehicles is *very* limited. :D

ronmart, sorry man the closest pic that I have is the pic of the trunk. The scratches were on the driver's side, very close to the edge os the trunk. I was in a huge rush when taking the afters becasue the owner called and needed the car back.

toyota guy, I buy them locally--about $38 for $500. The mats are "polybacked" and seem to hold up fairly well.

Kiadude, yep still rolling the wagon--changed the timing belt, drive belts, etc and fixed the A/C just this week. :D

Sean, I don't think you'll have a problem at all. :D You seem to set the bar around here, the rest of us just follow your lead.

01bluecls, the detail took just under 8 hours.

THANKS again everyone!!!!

1- How does the cutting power of HI-Temp Extreme Cut compare to the Meguiars line? Compare to #84, #83?

2- Did you rotary the entire car or just where needed?

3- Did you tape before rotary buffing?

Cuts like #85, finishes like #80/#82. I would take it over any Meguiars 80's series product for heavy correction. With some of the Meguiars products I can't get them to finish down well enough on soft paints--I have yet to find *any* paint that the HT EC can't be used on. I still like the Meguiars 80's series, but used with a polishing pad I can go straight from HT EC to FP-II and clean up *severe* marring. It's a stellar product, one that I will not be without.

I always tape when using the rotary--if not your just asking for Murphy to show up. :D I taped all of the molding and all of the emblems--took an additional 30-45 minutes. I used the green 3M tape.

Thanks Scott!!!
