STUNNING TURNAROUND!!

Do you have any full car "before" shots out in the sun ?

I sure don't--it looked gray!

Incredible work as always from you!

Any more pics of the car in the reflection?? :nervous2:

Always look forward to your posting and as usual you never fail to impress me with your buffing skill. Those are really some nasty defects on the paint work but you sure make it looks better than new after your magic touch :xyxthumbs :xyxthumbs :bigups .

I have been using the UF SE for a while, but it hasn't replaced the Menzerna *for me.* I will use it if I am finishing via rotary, but it took a bit of adjusting my process to make it work for me. I find that UF SE doesn't have as much cut as PO106FF so it makes it harder for me to use it during my details(finishing with a PC). It really just depends on the paint and what my first step is.

Considering the start, one of the best blacks I've seen. Shame it has to be brought into the real world. I hope the guy takes care of it.

Does that mean you are unsure of the UF SE? and will rely on Menz for final polish?

Excellent work as always Joe! I highly recommend the 3M blue foam 8" pad when using UF. Crank the rotary up to 1700 and apply some pressure. I have never had a hint of a hologram when using this combo on soft Lexus black to hard vette black.

When finishing with the rotary I use either the 3M pad, or a 6" blue SM Arnold pad--both work extremely well for me and as you noted, not a hologram in sight! I actually finished this vehicle with the PC/UF SE.

salty, it's really just a matter of fitting the UF SE into my process. I typically do the rotary work and have my helpers follow me with the PC. Since I *know* that the PO106FF via PC has enough bite to remove holograms left by just about any medium compound I tend to use it more often. It really comes down to the detail, how much they're paying, and how I am finishing. If I am finishing with the rotary, UF SE is pretty much the standard final polish IMO.

Thanks everyone!

F'ing unreal that anyone could in good conscience sell a car with paint that awful...definitely beats the A6 I did a couple years ago that I thought was pretty rough. ;)

Really clear wet finish, looks absolutely swirl free too. :bow

So, what do you think of Meguiars #105? Worth the $90 a gallon price?

Incredible turnaround !!! One of the best I have EVER seen. 15 hours on the exterior, must have been some bill !!!

You sir, are a certifiable polishing expert!

I cannot add much to what has already been said. One helluva turnaround!
