Well a bird finally got some revenge on me. After all these years of me cleaning bird poop off cars and removing the stains it leaves behind a bird got the ultimate revenge.



I was detailing a 03 bmw 330 for Jay. As I was detailing the car we heard 2 smalls pops from bird crap landing right on the trunk as I was detailing it, then the 3 bomb came and landed right on my head.:eek:



I ran into the house washed my hair and came out and started to detail all over again.

I wish I had pix of th BMW as it came out sick looking, it was one of the best I have done.

Jay was really happy with it and took a pic of the bird poop on my head.

Hehe, kinda like that Honda commercial where the guy avoids all the bad stuff...then ends up jumping in front of the windshield washer spray that came over the roof of the guy in front of him. :p

OMG! How can you confuse a FOCUS with a Honda? That's just completely unacceptable! Haha, just kidding, but it is a Focus. :D

Erm, sorry, havent seen it in a while...could swear it was a black civic. :nixweiss :(

Hahahaaha NYD that's one of my nightmares! Sometimes I worry about that as birds seem to love the roof of our house.





Yeah the car in the commercial is a black 4 door Focus. The worst part is he probably scratched the heck out of his hood from diving on it like that.... :sosad
 
The other day I was extracting an interior on an expedition. I finished it up and had all the doors open. I packed up the extractor and walked back to the vehicle and saw a bird had dropped one right on the center of the driver's seat... Guess it was flying or the wind... I don't know. I was PO'ed though...
 
NY Detailer I am guessing that you were in Staten Island. The first time I went to Staten Island as I was walking out of the ferry terminal a bird bombed my head and shoulder, never liked Staten Island after that.

Just read your post and had to pass this along. Last summer while on vacation up in Bar Harbor, ME, we were searching for a parking spot so we could go on the whale watch. To my surprise a primo spot, I thought, wide open in the middle of the town pier, right under a street light-our lucky day we said. For some reason, I decided to close the sunroof but leave the windows cracked just a bit.



As we got closer to the car after the trip it became very apparent why this spot was available. The dark car was nearly white with gull droppings, the sunroof and windshield resembling greenhouse glass which has been whitewashed for the hot weather. Ah but the best part greeted us when we opened the doors, the two inch opening in the windows let in a fair amount of poop which had seeped onto the leather seats getting into the stiching and on the seat belts.



The nearest non touch car wash was about a 20 minute trip away and it was a real treat-the operator said "bet you know where not to park now".
