A beautiful red ZR1 garage queen with ZAINO *56K* NO

I got more compliments on the B&B system I had on my 2000 Camaro SS than any other catback I've ever run, and I've had Corsa, Magnaflow, GMMG, Borla and SLP on different cars at different times. It's not super loud, but you certainly know it's there, and the tone is so sweet.

That bright red paint on the ZR-1 looks fanstatic. I bet it was hard to get rid of that car.

Which BFG's are those? KD's?

The Camaro system is single 3". On the ZR-1, it's dual 3". I've heard many people say it was too loud for them. My '87 'vette was pretty loud and it really grew to bother me, I don't want the Z to do that. But like anything, it's in the ear of the beholder. I think even if it weren't too loud at first, once I toss headers on the car it would for sure be.

And yeah, those look like KD's. :)

OP at 1400 rpm ? interesting ? would you lower your rpm's if you needed the Opt compound ?

i keep both op and oc at 1200

your thoughts ?

I typically use the compound around 1400 as well, IF I am trying to remove more *serious* defects. The reason that I ran the polish at this speed was because the vette clear is so HARD!!! Otherwise, I would have kept it around the 1200 mark as well.

Aurora, it is indeed LOWFLIGHT's--great guy, AWESOME to detail for!!

Thanks for all the compliments everyone!!

A pool of red... Beautiful!

Thoughts on le Z?

Thanks man, I like it--a far different experience than the last time I used it(pre ZFX days).

The look and ease of use are fantastic. I wish there was a way to mix a half ounce of ZFX enabled Z2PRO, even mixing one ounce and doing *every* available surface, I ended up pouring some down the drain. :(

It is the most *non* slick sealant that I have used. I would guess that it is that way because of the lack of "artificial" oils? I sort of like the slickness of other LSP's, if for nothing else the feel when washing.

It definitely has a place in my arsenal. I will be changing up between this and #21, I expect my carnauba stock to be pushed to the back shelf.

I think its a great product and although sometimes second best in the depth department, it makes up 10 folds with the protection it gives.

Have you tried #21? You know I just bought a lifetime supply. :D
