HARD, VERY HARD.



The clearcoat on this Porsche was the hardest I have ever worked on. The bonnet ( respray ) was definetly bullet proof, it took a lot of :waxing: :waxing: to correct.



Some heavy swirling, and a good layer of grime on this one.

After an interior clean and the engine and boot seals etc. cleaned, it was time to clay. CYC yellow used.

After taping up, and a proper inspection of the damage -

Loads of testing, and some swearing as the Menz PG and IP decided to crumble to dust and lumps :grrr a plan was decided. - Sonus SFX1 pad and Menz polishing pad, with a mix of - 2:1:1 of SFX1, Menz PG and Menz IP.

Carlack NSC used as pre-wax cleaner/prep.

A last shot, on the way back home over the Pennines. Through Snake Pass, ( A57 ) one of the best driving roads in the country.

Those 50/50's are amazing! Still can't understand how they let their cars like that get to that point.



Seems like the more you spend on the car itself, the less the owner cares for it.:grinno:

Great work on the 996! the 50/50 shot is absolutely impressive!
 
Great job! When you said it was hard I had serious doubts until you mentioned "repaint" excellent correction, way to save the day it looks better than new.
