Did you do the floor DIY or did you hire someone... I'm still thinking about getting my floor done.

Thank you Jason! The piece I used in the ceiling is a shower drain from HD. It has a large nut on the top of it.

I hired a company here in Atlanta. It was not cheap at $5sq/ft. My biggest concern if I DIY was grinding the floor. It took them 8 hours and they know what they are doing. Grinder rental with comm grade shop vac is $250/day, plus you have to pay for the stones. A quality kit with quartz sand and 100% solids epoxy would be $800-1000. I figure after its all said and done i would have $1300-1500 plus frustration.

Absolutely. How did I miss this one? I was looking at those "during" pics of the garage on facebook and the end result is even nicer than I was expecting. Very very clean and fresh look. Hope all is well down south!
