99 Black Frontier

My friends uncle's 99 Frontier needed some TLC and he is a very kind guy so I told him we could do it no problem. He garages his car and also takes very good care of it but over time it collected some oxidation and swirls. My friend helped me do the detail and since I taught him how to work the PC I let him go at it. He worked this orange cutting pad and Megs #9 to start off and guess what...pad was covered in black...I am guessing that means to clearcoat? Well we knew that it was still very mild polish so he just kept it light and not a lot of passes but everything came out real easy. I guess the thin or lack of clearcoat made for soft easy paint...damned nissans. Anyway I only have the after pics, my friend has the befores on his camera but I will try to get them and add them later. Process was as follows:

Wash- Megs Deep Crystal

Clay- Sonus Clay

Polish- Megs #9 w/ orange sonus pad

Wax- Klasse AIO (WOWO)

Mothers B2B on all the trim

EO Neverdull on the bumpers

Oxyclean on carpets removed by the Shop Vac

All in all it was an eventfull day and good results and he was very pleased. He also payed my friend and I 40 bucks each. I think I might get a new shop vac soon...mine is pretty old and missing a wheel...wish they made one with more power and less size I don't need an 18 gallon but the 6.5 horses I wouldn't mind.

The wheel which we didn't have to dress because when Nissan services them they put on enough to last you till the next oil change around here.
