This client works at a used car lot and buys/sells a few cars a year on the side. He's brought me a few cars, but usually doesn't want to pay for any paint correction; he just wants them prepped for quick sale.
This '98 Jeep Wrangler was somewhat trashed and really needed more work than the client wanted. When we pre-inspected the vehilce I asked how much paint correction he wanted, and he said "minimal". He just wanted a few decals removed and the car cleaned up for sale. I spent a few minutes cleaning up the key scratches on the driver side door (as a Freebie), because I just couldn't let it leave my shop looking like that :wall
In any case, it's nowhere near perfect or up to normal Autopian standards, but I don't like to turn away clients and it puts a little money into the kids college fund.
