This is my friend’s daily driver.
He was very pleased with the results.
1998 Supercharged Grand Prix "Official Pace Car".
208,716 Miles.
I think the car was in pretty good shape for the miles. There were a lot of rock chips on the front and a ton of water spots etched in. I think I reduced the water spots by about 95% which I am pleased with. I am also pleased that I was able to remove the scuff mark on the right rear wheel well. There was only light (IMO) swirling and it came out easily with the PB SSR 2.5.
I put about 20 hours into the car and still fell short in a couple of areas, mainly the tar on the left front wheel well. I'll have to get it another time. I don’t see how you guys do one (or more) car(s) in a day. My hats’ off to you.
This is my first experience with Poorboy products. I like them except for the dusting. They do smell really good.
Process -
Exterior:
Wash with Z7 and a light sheepskin mitt.
Clay with Z18.
QEW after claying.
Tape off rubber trim.
SSR2.5 on all panels. Horizontal panels got it twice. Orange propel on PC @ 6.
SSR1 on all panels. Green propel on PC @ 6.
Wash all the SSR dust off the car with Z7.
AJ x2 and let cure overnight.
PB EX with blue pad on PC @ 1 and buff with MF.
Interior:
Wipe down trim and jambs with APC at about 6:1.
Vacuum mats, carpets and rear shelf area.
Spot clean carpets and mats.
Re-vacuum.
Wipe down rear leather seats and light scrub on front with APC at about 10:1.
303 on dash and trim.
PB Leather Stuff on seats, buff with terry cloth towel.
All glass got Stoner Invisible Glass.
Tires got Black Magic Tire Wet.
