'98 Ferrari 355 F1 Berlinetta detail

Mike...

Awesome work...Obviously when people bring cars of this caliper to you its a true indicator of your skills....Nice job..

:bow

I washed today equal the cost of a 355...maybe if you toss in the Escalade, Marauder, C280, Avenger and 350Z too (all washes except the Escalade which was a wash/wax) it would be more!

BTW..Scott...got any pics of the 350Z that you detailed???

Awesome detail on an awesome car. Very nice pictures, it looks like you had your own little photo shoot with the Ferrari.

:bow SICK!

Any interior shots?

What about washing the rear deck? Can water get in there?

Nice work :xyxthumbs

Incredible work, the finish looks perfect in your pics! I have a question, with all the seems, body lines, etc do you mask when polishing? Do you use a PC or rotary?

That is almost my dream car. It is actually the sister car the F355 Spyder in yellow with black interior. A manager at work has a 348 Spyder and he took me for a ride once, wow! ITs not the fastest beast in the world but is an *Experience*! OUr GM also has and F355 and a vintage Ferrari (Id love to detial any of them!). BEst cars I have done are a Blackwood, a few Vintage (60's, 70's) Vettes and once I got to detail a genuine Duesenburg.

THANKS again all for the very kind words!! :D

gto78 :lol I'm going to have to try that one sometime!! Actually...today I was working at a high end "pre-owned" dealership that the owner of the 355 recommended me to and he showed up in his '91 911 Turbo (my DREAM car) to do some computer fix it "IT" kinda stuff for them. He took me for a ride in that beast as well. 500+ rear wheel hp....guards red....the perfect Porsche...I was in heaven. I'll be detailing this car in the very near future. ;)

JohnnyDaJackal I had about 15 minutes with the Ferrari to take pics while the owner walked over. He works in that office building in the background of the first pic (a Home Depot corporate center). They have a "guy" that does washing (maybe detailing too?) on a regular basis set-up in their parking deck so the property manager gave me a no-go to work there. I wound up detailing the 355 in a corporate temporary living apartment complex right next door (brought back memories of my Prudential days).

Spilchy I misted the engine cover with my pressure washer...stood back about 4-5 feet and let the water fan out. I then spayed some #34 on it and washed with a rung out soapy mit...rinsed in the same manner. I can't imagine that the amount of water that made its way through was any worse than a heavy rainstorm. :nixweiss Worse than the actual engine cover were the engine inlet ducts in the corner of the rear quarter windows. Water pooled up in that area and I made super sure I dried it at each stage of the wash. Sorry...no interior pics.

LightngSVT I do 95% of my work with a PC so I very rarely mask any trim (just the occasional car that has textured plastic trim).

Awesome job awesome ride man you are getting some waycool cars.Makes me sick as a clean a cavelar & Impala the cool thing is the cav. owner paid 100 bones for wax package so I hit with vm. then nxt dressed it all out got tipped 30 bones .she brought the car to my house also.:)

Damn, what a nice car. I thought that building looked familiar. I guess HD pays pretty good. Beautiful work!

The pic in my AVATAR is right across the street!

Beautiful car and a great detail!

Love the colour too - if I was ever in the position to be able to afford a Ferrari, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have red.

If you look around, they can be bought quite cheaply. The real costs seems to be keeping them on the road.

Great work 1CleanWS6 :xyxthumbs
