98 Escort ZX-2 Like Glass!

This is a 98 Escort ZX-2 that I have for sale. It was in rough shape and I revived it in 3 hours!

Pink Stuff- clean wheels and tires

Presta 1500- rotory with wool pad to make a smooth glass surface (just a quicky)

Z-PC- pc on 6 with lc white pad to take out the swirls and deepen the glow (great stuff)

Z-5 Pro1 coat (was getting dark soon and did not have time for another coat)

Here are the pics. Sorry there was no sun and was just starting to get dark out.

:goodjob what scott said ^

thanks guys!...it is stock paint and it was messed up and there was a ton of buffer swirls and some of the moldings were were badly scoured from someone trying to buff it before.

Nice work. It really looks sharp. Hope you get what you're asking for it...Shouldnt be a problem with it looking like that.

Ok It's been a month and I tested the durabilty on this car today and it looked amazing. The water just beeds right off and the gloss is still through the roof. I know that everyone says the durability is great but I just have too see it and test it for myself. So far it is amazing!

I did a wash on this car today and I could not believe the gloss that was under all the salt. I did a quick z8 wipedown also. I am not a big spray and wipe person, but z8 is intense. I can not believe the extra pop and the deep gloss it put on. I pulled up to a store tonight and the light from the store were shining on it and it was so deep and shiny. A kid that was at the store and was looking at me stare at my car. He came over to look at it and I am gonna detail his cars now. He could not believe the shine for an escort. That was too easy! haha!

I agree with your statement about Ford paint. My wife's black Explorer was a right mess but it was incredibly easy to take out all the swirls and maintain a fantastic look. However, my Dodge paint is another story!

Well done.:xyxthumbs

Thanks John. I also wanted to say thanks to you and greg, ZaneO, sean(g35stylz), and others for all the pictures and posts that you had on the zaino products and you guys were telling the truth on how amazing they truely were and they were not just the typical hype.

When I was doing this car, my buddy who is a 30 year paint expert seen the car when it was done and was floored at the results. He also comented on how amazing it looked under the flouresent lights and wants me to use it on his 67 and 68 Shelby GT500's.

This car was so hammered before I did it. The whole key is with proper prep, zaino takes it to even higher standards and higher levels of deep gloss that I have never seen in 20 years of detailing, especially on a 98 escort with crappy paint. This is not hype, just real results.

The best part was when removing, it left no white residue in cracks and left the black trim like new. So the removal clean up was very fast and easy and saved a lot of time. Plus I did not need an extra product for the trim. My detailing just got easier and better!

By the way, the camera I used was a cheap $100 kodak camera and this car looks better in person then the pics! Trust me!

Again thanks everyone and Autopia for this amazing site and great people!

Ryan
