'98 CR wax rating? Klasse, Zymol

Well, it depends on how long the test period was and what they did to simulate "real world wear/tear". And prep can have a *lot* to do with a LSP's durability too.

And FWIW, on most subjects where I have considerable knowledge/experience, I don't agree with Consumer's Reports ;)

These are the same folks who recently warned that if you buy a BMW M3 (or maybe it was the Audi S4) you might drive too fast. I still get CR, but I always end up  about much of what they print on subjects I know. Now when it comes to what stain to buy for your deck, that's different :D

Agreed, CR MUST be taken with a grain of salt. I find myself disagreeing with about 90% of what they 'report'. I am not certain about now but not that long ago the 'staff', if you read the page which listed the members was about 95% women, not that there is anything wrong with this; but it does show a lack of diversity (and we all know how important that is!)

My biggest complaint is that they refuse to list the country of origin, they are big into the 'global' economy mindset, has anyone else noticed how the globe has shrunk to just one nation?

:D I still chuckle about how they didn't like the original Mazda RX-7 because you could scrape your head on the latch on the hatchback.
