95 Tahoe made me cry

My first paid detail was a disaster. The Tahoe apparently had been used for off-roading a long time ago and never driven ever since. I also undercharged the customer :wall . I said $110 since he wanted wash, 1 step polish, wax, vaccum interior, wipe down leather. I spent 9 hours doing this car so I should have made at least $180.

Weird process, but it's what he wanted.

-ONR with help of PB Bug Squash

-OHC w/ Edge2k Yellow PC 6 (made 2 passes on some areas)

-OCW

-Mother's Mag/Aluminum Polish on the Chrome

-PB Trim Restorer on Trim

Used E1 Tire/Wheel and it would not remove cake from the wheels. Used Mother's Mag & Aluminum polish, barely helped. I could not figure how to tackle those wheels. It made me feel pretty bad, but oh well he got it for $110.

Not too satisfied with my work, but customer did not want to clay or anything else since he is selling this car. Forgot to take interior shots.

Tired. Any advice would be fantastic, I need some.

Will be back tomorrow to detail another car for $110. This time an old VW wagon. His interior is so messy I should charge him more but I already set the price and would feel bad if I changed it.

You should always renegotiate depending on condition. ALWAYS! Your are not here to save them money. You are here to make money.

Business 101 my friend.

Well at least you know now not to undercharge yourself. A lot of people make that mistake, and feel lucky you figured it out early. Good work though BTW.
