for brad or anyone else, i have a little dirt scrubbed in on my headliner on the Apillar of my 2001 jetta. what is the best product to remove this? thanks

try a brush first if fabric.

You have to be careful with whatyou use on fabric headliners because of the glues used to hold the fabric up.

Old stand by of a wet MF might do the trick.

I came to Phoenix for Thanksgiving to see my aunt and uncle. I decided to ship my detailing materials with me in hopes of finding some work. I posted my services on a huge car forum for Supra owners. There is about 75,000 members worldwide :scared: and I received a ton of responses. One was from a young man that owns a 95 Black 202 paint code Toyota Supra Turbo. Its been nicely modified and is definitely a sweet car. He also owns a 2008 Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera. At first he wanted me to do both but ran out of time because he was leaving for a month long vacation. Yesterday he brought me the Supra and I had a 6hr window to make the car look perfect.

I dont have my halogen lights with me so I didnt get any good before pictures, but the afters will speak for themselves. The car had light swirling, hazing, marring, no major scratches and no tree sap or major surface contaminants. Since the window was so small I did my best 3 step process on it. I washed the car with dawn to strip it. Clayed the car with a fine cut clay bar. Used my Makita rotary and blue foam pad with a light cutting polish. Then used BFWD lsp. Needless to say i was worried about the car since I couldnt see that well in the garage i was working in. But the car came out absolutely perfect.

With the Lamborghini the owner just had time for me to wash it, unfortunately. But it looked great as well. Onto the pictures:

Thanks guys! The Supra is for sale if anyone is interested :) haha. This guy is going to buy a twin turbo kit for his Gallardo. Then is purchasing a brand new Murcielago SV with plans of a twin turbo kit on it as well and a Rolls Royce 4-dr as his daily driver.

Currently he daily drives that Gallardo :o !

Michael,

Wow, beautiful work on both those beauties !!!
The Supra paint looks very slick and clear:hurray:

I just dont know how I could ever finish a black vehicle in 6 hours for all the work it entails; you must have super powers and stuff ! :)

Great work, hope you and yours have a great Thanksgiving..

In all honesty I have no idea either :-? and i detailed the engine bay as well within that time :hurray: I did the whole car with my rotary polisher as well and only one type of pad. I was damn worried that I would have hazing marks just because I was going so fast. Plus its that dumb 202 black finish from toyota, I love toyota and lexus but usually struggle with that one paint code. Not this time fortunately.
