Well actually, the paint isn't terrible aside from the nasty orange peal/fading (not sure which one it is; it's a red that looks light pink) and swirls. Anyone know if this is this single stage or clearcoat? Also, i've heard AIO is works wonders on faded paint. Should I try it?

Hi Lex,

i have a 96 red geeser, i used an otc products called Meguiars DC step#1 its a paint cleaner that will take care of the oxidation and you will get paint transfer due to the cc has some tint in it.....Thank You Chris aka SpoiledMan....but it will not take care of the swilrs....also Aio is another product you can use you may have to order it though that is why i suggest megs, there are a ton of products you can use...by the way the method i am recommending you is with a pc.....will you be doing this by hand or pc.....for swilrs the are lots of products...by the way you may want to mention what products you have and machine...plus if you dont do some research on this form then when locked and load with info let us know what you plan on getting and we can modify your order and help you add or remove on whats need or not.....

Oh I've been on this forum for a little while now. I studied and got stuff for my car (black 99 bmw). This is my friend's car that he just got a little while ago and I want to help him out. I have the following products:

ssr 1, 2.5

aio, sg

pc

sfx 6" pads-- 2 yellow, 2 white, 1 blue, 1 buffing bonnet

sfx 4" pads-- 2 yellow, 2 white

natty's blue paste wax

If I use any of the pads on his car will I be able to use them again on my car? (since some paint will come off onto the pad)
