I didnt take any before pics because i wasn't planning on taking any after pics but it turned out really good and i wanted to contribute.
Let me explain first what it is i do. I work at a park and ride near the airport. If you have never used a facility like us what happens is you park your car and we give you a shuttle to the airport and hold your car till you come back. During that time customers can opt to get several levels of details done to their car. That's where i come in.
When i first pulled the car i immidiatley gave it a two bucket wash. Then i pulled it out under the sun light and noticed that not only was it swirled to hell and back it had the worst acid rain spots i have seen in my life. not to mention the wheels had rust everywhere (which i did get a before pic of). To start out i tested a small section of the hood where the acid spots were the worst. After much trial and error i found the while Pro swirl eliminator and Automagic new car glaze took the swirls out pretty easy the spots would budge. So i resorted to using some XP Magic cut with a med componding pad from buff and shine which took the spots out and didnt swirl the paint much worse because while it is a hvy cutting cream it breaks down into a polish after a few passes. Then i took the swirls out with the before mentioned combo on a light compound pad/polishing pad and did some light scratch removal again with the xp magic cut. After that was all said and done I clayed a few rough areas and polished the entire car one more time with some Meg's Cleaner Polish. To top it all off i used a few coats of Meg's gold class Paste because on a red car i love the nice deep shine. I dressed the wheels with some super Dress-it after i cleaned the rims for about an hour with Auto Magic Acid Based wheel cleaner. Re blackend the vinyl with some Vinyl Magic and used some Mothers metal polish on the pipe. Most of the componding was done with my Northern tools Rotary for the poilish i used my 1000 Year old DA.
And im not advertising for pro he was just there when i was taking the pictures lol
