Well i finally got my hands on an nsx to detail. Unfortunately not to own, but its an honor to be allowed to touch it anyway. The car was original Red but was painted blue with purple flake (surprising the purple overtakes the blue.) Anywho, the owner used to do paint work, and only was able to compound the car until his back gave out (thus the reason for the really really bad paint.)
Anywho, the first pictures of the car were taken via my camera phone (my rebel was out shooting other things at the time.)
Not too terribly bad right?

Absolutely horrible!
Thats ok, i started with Meguiars So1o kit with a yellow wool pad and meguiars #86, it worked a little, but some scratches were laughing at me pretty bad. I moved up to the burgandy wool, worked better, but still some scratches around. While i wasnt able to get completely defect free (would require wet sanding) i think it came out really really good. I followed up the wool with a Meguiars yellow polishing pad and #86 and then finally went over it with 3m's Ultrafina.
And finally the end shots!
