86 Porsche 930 Turbo (Red) Shattered the gloss bar!

Steller job my friend, thats Porsche is glowing! What kind of medium and finishing polish did you use?

Oh btw, what lsp?

Ryan, That is an amazing gloss. The many hours spent where well worth the results. More then a few of the pics are print worthy.

"I then sat back and had a couple cold ones and admired my work with joy. I had a very huge smile on my face on the huge accomplishment I have achieved once again. If you stare at this nose long enough, it looked like it was smiling at me." - rydawg

Dude - are you sure you only had a "couple cold ones"???:LOLOL

As usual, GREAT JOB!!!

that looks amazing...

what a coincidence that the super to our apt complex has one paked under a car canopy and 2 car covers on the actual car...starts it every weekend and maybe goes around the block a few times, lol..

ive never seen him clean it in any way but everytime the covers come off it look fantastic minus a few light swirls i noticed here or there...but wont let anyon come close to hte car let alone polish out hte swirls, in his eyes the car is perfect as it is..

I forgot just how awesome the car came out until I looked at the after pictures again. When you are staring at a car for 5 whole days, you don't really get to appreciate it because we are constantly working without many breaks. I love having pictures of all my details to look back at and admire all of the hard work and effort. You sure did put a ton of hours into this one!

The owner was floored by the results and left in a hurry once the car was pulled outside because the pollen was so bad that day.

Wetsanding and polishing his other car (Black Porsche 964 Turbo) should be even more fun! :) Can't wait for that one! :woohoo:

Thanks Rick! I know I put a lot of hours into it, but it needed ultra care for being an older car. It all payed off in the end. I wish that we could have got some sun shots cause it was simply amazing in the bright sun, until the pollen got it covered in a short 30 seconds. It was the worst pollen I have ever seen.

Thanks Marcus! I used mainly Menzerna products on this one and they did a spectacular job. I ended up topping it with sov paste. The customer wanted a carnauba wax. It was a nice and easy product.

Most people that own these older ones really take such pride in them and do not like people touching them, but he did his research heavily. They are such cool little cars.

You did a stunning work on this 930 and I can fully understand why the client is speachless when he came to collect the car. Amazing shine and super wetz look :bigups

WOW!!!! That's a really GREAT job!!! Amazing results and the gloss, shine and reflection is second to none!!!!

Holy Crap Ryan, that came out amazing.

I did an 88 last week that was Cherry Red (more of a cranberry), so I understood 100% your struggles on this one. Knowing how hard of a time I had, the end result that you got is simply amazing.

Couple that with the amazing shots you managed to get in that puddle and you got some amazing stuff.

Jon

Wow, that's some nasty gloss you have there Ryan! Someone might call the gloss police for having too much on that car, LoL! I really hope I don't encounter paint that hard.

Wow that is just out of this world . I think more impresive than the outstanding paint correction would have been a picture of the owner expression when saw the car . :grinno::grinno::grinno:

Ryan, this has to be some of the best I've seen from you. Going from the befores to the very first after shot, the paint literally jumped at me. I can only imagine with those images would look like if I viewed them from an HD computer screen. I wish I had seen the customers reaction. Awesome work. Absolutely jaw dropping. :bow

I got so lost in the pictures, completely forgot about your process. Would you mind sharing?
