Sure is a hell of an upgrade over stock though, 500+ hp gain at the crank if my numbers are right.

I thought the new z06 had 505 at the crank (call it a 10% loss through drive train - say 455 at the wheels)

Yeah thats what I was thinking when I went out there. "So much for my easy Friday"!

Lesson learned though. If I think a car needs something I'm going to say it and if someone says not to do it or not to worry about it I will tell them to hire someone else.



Tdekany, I believe it was a JL sub just one. Not sure though.

That has got to be an idiot behind the wheel or a fully built forged motor to handle a 250 shot. Regardless, it's got quite a healthy cam in there. That alone, with ported LS7's and a simple tune would net near 550 to the wheels. Throw in the exhaust and 250 shot. There's your ~800's rwhp.
