'83 Black Hurst Old's......Need HELP!!!!!

A coworker just picked up a really clean '83 Hurst Olds that has some serious swirls and scuffs. I don't think it has a clear coat and am wondering how to go about polishing and buffing. I've done a number of black clear coated finishes using 3M Finesse-It, 3M Swirl Mark remover, Pinnacle Cleansing Lotion, etc., etc. I use a PC for buffing and know that I need to tape off the vinyl strips that are very good factory items and really expensive to replace.



Please let me know if I should be using different products or techniques due to the non clear coated finish.:confused: :confused: :confused:
 
No tricks, Steve. Same process, techniques and outcomes. You've already mastered the secrets of the "perfect black finish". This should be a piece of cake!
