Than yes that is is going to be not to agressive but agressive. Something like #9 or #82 will work.

10 obviously being the most abrasive....Ive used #80 on a 2000 with excellent results.....I think its safe to say, if you dont need to follow with another less aggressive polish afterwards, its probably safe....

As with any product it depends on application material/method. By hand speed glaze will be much milder as opposed to applying it via rotary. IMO speed glaze will be just fine when used on new finishes. For light to moderate swirls it is great.

Would I need to worry about #80 leaving swirls if I don't break it down enough? My car is only 3 weeks old and has dealer induced spider webs that are very light. So would this line-up of products be ok? (I have ssr2, but think thats too agressive. I used it on my old car (the accord) and don't think I was experienced enough with it. It looked fine under my flourescent lights but looked terrible in the sun when I was finished. )

Let me remind you the swirls or spider webs are very very light and minimal believe it or not, even though the dealer made them I'm thoroughly impressed looking at it in the sun. I guess I'm just being picky about whats there.

There was a newer 350Z at the Meguiar's Detail day that had some spider webbing going on. 80 was used on it followed by NXT and it simply looked awesome. There shouldn't be a problem with anything bonding with 80 as the protection that it has is of the polymer type. I don't see the need to follow it with anything so you should be able to go straight to EX.

Well, if you do 80 then NXT, I would top it with a good carnauba such as 16.

Instead of #80, I'd try the VM with the Lake Country white pad on your worst panel. See if that's enough to address your light swirls before purchasing an additional product.Ashley said:
