I`ve waited patiently and haven`t seen anyone notice or correct the title. ........

We`re all here because we`re perfectionists, whatever the "Reaons".

Hmm i love getting up close and personal with my vehicle. It lets me find any new scratches dings rust spots etc. Also, what dad always called step 4, stand back and admire your work. You can see the fruits of your labors, and with your car so can everyone else. :D

I read the title a couple of times after reading your post and STILL didn`t see the typo! Oh boy....I think it`s time to bring the espresso machine to work.

This is too funny. I saw it, and it`s funny because I`m on the verge of getting some coffee! Vega, what kind of coffee machine do you guys have at the office?

Didn`t read through every single post, but to me, my vehicle is an example of what I do. I hand out a lot of cards due to the fact I drive a 94 jeep that is cleaner than a lot of new ones.

This is from my perspective as a nurse. One of the major things we learn in nursing and healthcare, is that with accidents and health problems, our main goal isn`t to CURE the problem, it is to PREVENT the problem. Preventative care is the best care, you don`t want to bring things to the point where you have to fix the problem, when you could have prevented it from happening in the first place.

3.) It Keeps Your Family Protected, Healthy, and Safe.Family and personal health are a big deal with the cost of health insurance rising and caring for your loved ones (Children and family).Health and safety can go hand in hand with detailing more than you think.

  • Detailing the interior of your vehicle, even with a simple vacuum can help remove pollen or allergens, and with having seasonal allergies, this is a big concern, because you don`t want to have a sneezing frenzy or watery eyes when you`re going 60 MPH down the highway, with your child and spouse in the car with you, or it can even prevent your child with allergies from having hay fever every time they ride in your car.
  • Have you ever walked around a parking lot and seen yellowed out headlights? Simply keeping your headlights polished and sealed greatly increases their abilities to light up the road, because you never know if a child may run in front of your car, or if you can`t see the curb or pole as clearly. Every second of reaction time counts, and can be the difference between a tragic accident, and just another drive home.
  • When we drive, we can be the safest driver in the world and follow all the rules, but in reality, driving is easy, BUT driving with other people on the road, now that`s the challenge. Hence, another point, quite common sense, is that a clean and shiny car, especially if it`s white, is MUCH more visible to other drivers at night. Think about this, is a drunk driver more likely to see and brake for your shiny and well detailed car, or for a dirty, nearly matte car?
Three examples of how a well detailed car can keep you and your family protected, healthy, and safe.

That`s mine. I`m honestly a man of percentages, and I care about my family. If having a white and shiny car with clear headlights gives me even a 1% chance of a safer or more protective drive, then I`ll take it.

WOW! THANK YOU RAY!!!YOU NAILED IT!!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!! All Autopians are all obviously very proud of our work, and when we see someone else on our block/Ally taking some pride of their own we LOVE IT!!

Have to add (kept it VERY short)
At The Car Wash You have to: worry about Automobile being dinged/slammed/"tapped", items being stolen, having to re adjust drivers seat, do not have to cringe when you have to see sole marks (too lazy to use tire or step stool) and imprint sole marks on leather seats, I could go on. HAPPY 4TH EVERYONE, STAY SAFE!!!!!!!

It`s called DETAILING for a reason :
The detail oriented learning process is constant, you look deeply into everything, with eyes that see more then ever before.
When reading and replying about detailing I am always amazed at how many details go into an answer or question about detailing.
